Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Hope Island in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Managers (1,475 people or 22.1%)
  • Professionals (1,369 people or 20.5%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (966 people or 14.5%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 3,810 people in total or 57.1% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Gold Coast City employed 13.0% in Managers; 20.4% in Professionals; and 12.6% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
