Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Elanora in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (784 females or 25.6%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (677 females or 22.1%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (562 females or 18.4%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,023 females in total or 66.1% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Gold Coast City employed 23.9% in Professionals; 20.2% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 18.4% in Community and Personal Service Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Elanora and Gold Coast City were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (22.1% compared to 20.2%)
