Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Molendinar in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (282 males or 17.3%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (173 males or 10.6%)
  • Retail Trade (157 males or 9.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 612 males in total or 37.5% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Benowa employed 14.0% in Construction; 9.7% in Accommodation and Food Services; and 8.7% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Molendinar and Benowa were:

  • A larger percentage of males employed in construction (17.3% compared to 14.0%)
