Analysis of the household/family types in Division 02 in 2021 compared to Jacobs Well - Alberton shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 32.7% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 11.0% were one-parent families, compared with 33.8% and 8.7% respectively for Jacobs Well - Alberton.
There were a higher proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 17.3% compared to 16.1% in Jacobs Well - Alberton while the proportion of couples without children was 30.9% compared to 32.9% in Jacobs Well - Alberton.
