Dominant groups

Analysis of the female five year age groups of Division 10 in 2021 compared to Willow Vale - Pimpama (West) shows that there was a lower proportion of females in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of females in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 9.2% of the female population was aged between 0 and 15, and 23.4% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 24.2% and 6.1% respectively for Willow Vale - Pimpama (West).

The major differences between the female age structure of Division 10 and Willow Vale - Pimpama (West) were:

  • A larger percentage of females aged 70 to 74 (6.7% compared to 1.5%)
