The size of Chigwell's female labour force in 2021 was 456, of which 208 were employed part-time and 182 were full time workers.
Analysis of the female employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in Chigwell in 2021 compared to Glenorchy City shows that there was a lower proportion in employment, and a higher proportion unemployed. Overall, 92.3% of the female labour force was employed, and 7.7% unemployed, compared with 93.2% and 6.8% respectively for Glenorchy City.
Analysis of the labour force participation rate of the female population in Chigwell in 2021 shows that there was a higher proportion in the labour force (57.6%) compared with Glenorchy City (56.6%).
