Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Leopold in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (978 females or 29.9%)
  • Retail Trade (436 females or 13.3%)
  • Education and Training (418 females or 12.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,832 females in total or 56.0% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Waurn Ponds - Ceres employed 25.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 15.3% in Retail Trade; and 15.4% in Education and Training.
