Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Barwon South West Region in 2021 compared to G21 Region shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a similar proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 26.5% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 9.9% were one-parent families, compared with 28.2% and 10.0% respectively for G21 Region.
