Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Tinana and District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (462 people or 16.8%)
  • Education and Training (320 people or 11.6%)
  • Retail Trade (255 people or 9.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,037 people in total or 37.7% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Scarness employed 24.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.7% in Education and Training; and 10.3% in Retail Trade.
