Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the Languages of the Philippines speaking resident population in Frankston City in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (143 people or 23.2%)
  • Labourers (128 people or 20.7%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (100 people or 16.2%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 371 people in total or 60.1% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Victoria employed 28.4% in Professionals; 13.7% in Labourers; and 16.0% in Community and Personal Service Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the Languages of the Philippines speaking population of Frankston City and Victoria were:

  • A larger percentage of people employed as Labourers (20.7% compared to 13.7%)
  • A smaller percentage of people employed as Professionals (23.2% compared to 28.4%)
