Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Karingal in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (793 females or 27.6%)
  • Retail Trade (363 females or 12.6%)
  • Education and Training (358 females or 12.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,514 females in total or 52.7% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Frankston City employed 25.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.4% in Retail Trade; and 13.2% in Education and Training.
