Analysis of individual income levels in FNQROC region in 2021 compared to Regional QLD shows that there was a lower proportion of people earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) as well as a lower proportion of low income people (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 7.7% of the population earned a high income, and 31.5% earned a low income, compared with 9.4% and 32.4% respectively for Regional QLD.
