Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Parks Place in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (2,608 males or 14.9%)
  • Manufacturing (2,247 males or 12.8%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (1,919 males or 11.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 6,774 males in total or 38.7% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Prairiewood employed 12.9% in Construction; 12.6% in Manufacturing; and 8.8% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Parks Place and Prairiewood were:
