Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Eurobodalla Shire in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (2,404 people or 15.9%)
  • Construction (1,887 people or 12.5%)
  • Retail Trade (1,790 people or 11.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 6,081 people in total or 40.3% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Regional NSW employed 16.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.4% in Construction; and 9.4% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Eurobodalla Shire and Regional NSW were:
