Overall, 48.6% of the male population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 40.4% had no qualifications, compared with 45.4% and 40.4% respectively for Lakes Entrance (Overlay).
The major differences between qualifications held by the male population of East Gippsland Shire and Lakes Entrance (Overlay) were:
