Dominant groups
Analysis of the share of the non-English speaking population attending educational institutions in City of Coffs Harbour in 2021 compared to Mid-Coast NSW shows that there was a higher proportion attending primary school, a higher proportion attending secondary school, and a similar proportion engaged in tertiary level education.
Overall, 9.9% of the non-English speaking population were attending primary school, 6.3% of the population were attending secondary institutions, and 3.1% were learning at a tertiary level, compared with 7.8%, 4.1% and 3.0% respectively for Mid-Coast NSW.
