Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in City of Cockburn in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (8,720 males or 27.0%)
  • Professionals (6,037 males or 18.7%)
  • Managers (4,363 males or 13.5%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 19,120 males in total or 59.2% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Greater Perth employed 23.4% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 20.5% in Professionals; and 14.1% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of the City of Cockburn and Greater Perth were:
