Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in City of Cockburn in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (8,140 females or 26.6%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (6,465 females or 21.1%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (5,342 females or 17.5%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 19,947 females in total or 65.2% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Jandakot employed 26.3% in Professionals; 25.4% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 13.7% in Community and Personal Service Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of the City of Cockburn and Jandakot were:
