Analysis of the qualifications of the population in the West Brisbane Water District in 2021 compared to West Brisbane Water and Peninsula shows that there was a higher proportion of people holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a lower proportion of people with no formal qualifications.
Overall, 58.9% of the population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 34.4% had no qualifications, compared with 51.9% and 39.0% respectively for West Brisbane Water and Peninsula.
The major differences between qualifications held by the population of the West Brisbane Water District and West Brisbane Water and Peninsula were:
- A larger percentage of persons with Bachelor or Higher degrees (23.4% compared to 18.4%)
- A larger percentage of persons with Advanced Diploma or Diplomas (11.7% compared to 9.8%)
