Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in East Brisbane Water and Coastal in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (3,587 males or 22.7%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (3,578 males or 22.7%)
  • Managers (3,056 males or 19.4%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 10,221 males in total or 64.8% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Umina Beach - Pearl Beach - Patonga employed 16.7% in Professionals; 24.4% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 15.9% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of East Brisbane Water and Coastal and Umina Beach - Pearl Beach - Patonga were:
