Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Wyong, Warnervale and Gorokan in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (2,985 males or 24.4%)
  • Labourers (1,890 males or 15.4%)
  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (1,722 males or 14.1%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 6,597 males in total or 53.9% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Budgewoi - Halekulani - Buff Point employed 28.8% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 16.9% in Labourers; and 14.0% in Machinery Operators And Drivers.
