Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Southern Lakes District in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (1,397 females or 23.0%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (1,321 females or 21.8%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (1,178 females or 19.4%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 3,896 females in total or 64.3% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Lake Munmorah - Chain Valley Bay employed 18.6% in Professionals; 21.8% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 20.4% in Community and Personal Service Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of the Southern Lakes District and Lake Munmorah - Chain Valley Bay were:
