Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Mountains District in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Managers (261 males or 26.1%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (221 males or 22.1%)
  • Professionals (142 males or 14.2%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 624 males in total or 62.5% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Point Clare - Tascott - Koolewong - Woy Woy Bay employed 16.5% in Managers; 19.7% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 25.8% in Professionals.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of the Mountains District and Point Clare - Tascott - Koolewong - Woy Woy Bay were:

  • A larger percentage of males employed as Managers (26.1% compared to 16.5%)
  • A larger percentage of males employed as Machinery Operators And Drivers (9.9% compared to 6.6%)
