Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Wyong Shire in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (7,829 males or 21.7%)
  • Manufacturing (3,510 males or 9.7%)
  • Retail Trade (3,235 males or 9.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 14,574 males in total or 40.4% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Killarney Vale - Tumbi Umbi employed 24.7% in Construction; 8.9% in Manufacturing; and 7.6% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Wyong Shire and Killarney Vale - Tumbi Umbi were:
