An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Wyong Shire in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Construction (7,829 males or 21.7%)
- Manufacturing (3,510 males or 9.7%)
- Retail Trade (3,235 males or 9.0%)
In combination, these three industries employed 14,574 males in total or 40.4% of the total employed male resident population.
In comparison, Killarney Vale - Tumbi Umbi employed 24.7% in Construction; 8.9% in Manufacturing; and 7.6% in Retail Trade.
The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Wyong Shire and Killarney Vale - Tumbi Umbi were:
- A larger percentage of males employed in retail trade (9.0% compared to 7.6%)
- A larger percentage of males employed in public administration and safety (6.3% compared to 5.1%)
- A smaller percentage of males employed in construction (21.7% compared to 24.7%)
