Dominant groups
Analysis of the male five year age groups of West Brisbane Water and Peninsula in 2021 compared to Bateau Bay shows that there was a lower proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a similar proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 18.3% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 22.2% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 21.4% and 21.7% respectively for Bateau Bay.
