Analysis of the family blending in Terrigal - North Avoca in 2021 compared to Avoca Beach - Picketts Valley - Copacabana - MacMasters Beach shows that there was a similar proportion of step families as well as a similar proportion of blended families. Overall, 8.8% of total couple families with children were step families, and 3.2% were blended families, compared with 8.9% and 2.5% respectively for Avoca Beach - Picketts Valley - Copacabana - MacMasters Beach.
There were a similar proportion of other families and a similar proportion of couples without children.
