Analysis of the types of dwellings in the Valleys District in 2021 shows that 98.7% of all dwellings were separate houses; 0.7% were medium density dwellings, and 0% were in high density dwellings, compared with 80.8%, 14.9%, and 3.4% in the Wyong Shire respectively.
In 2021, a total of 88.8% of the dwellings in the Valleys District were occupied on Census night, compared to 91.1% in Wyong Shire. The proportion of unoccupied dwellings was 10.6%, which is larger compared to that found in Wyong Shire (8.8%).
