Analysis of the types of dwellings for people reporting a need for assistance in Central Coast NSW in 2021 shows that 78.2% of people with a need for assistance were in separate houses; 18.7% were medium density dwellings, and 2.3% were high density dwellings, compared with 68.7%, 18.4%, and 12.4% in the Greater Sydney respectively.
The total number of people reporting a need for assistance in dwellings in Central Coast NSW increased by 3,444 between 2016 and 2021.
