Dominant groups

Analysis of the share of the Persian/Dari speaking population attending educational institutions in the City of Casey in 2021 compared to Greater Melbourne shows that there was a higher proportion attending primary school, a higher proportion attending secondary school, and a lower proportion engaged in tertiary level education.

Overall, 11.9% of the Persian/Dari speaking population were attending primary school, 11.5% of the population were attending secondary institutions, and 5.9% were learning at a tertiary level, compared with 8.8%, 7.9% and 7.3% respectively for Greater Melbourne.
