Dominant groups
Analysis of the number of bedrooms in dwellings for Persian/Dari speakers in the City of Casey in 2021 compared to Greater Melbourne, shows that there was a lower proportion of Persian/Dari speakers in dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, and a higher proportion of dwellings with 4 or more bedrooms.
Overall, 3.6% of Persian/Dari speakers were in dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, and 64.6% in 4 or more bedroom dwellings, compared with 18.6% and 44.6% for Greater Melbourne respectively.
The major differences between the number of bedrooms per dwelling Persian/Dari speakers in the City of Casey and Greater Melbourne were:
