Dominant groups
Analysis of the household/family types of people aged 25 to 54 years in the City of Casey in 2021 compared to City of Wyndham, shows that there was a higher proportion of people aged 25 to 54 years in couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion in one-parent families. Overall, 63.8% of people aged 25 to 54 years were in couple families with child(ren), and 10.3% were in one-parent families, compared with 61.4% and 9.0% respectively for City of Wyndham.
There was a similar proportion of people aged 25 to 54 years in lone person households and a lower proportion in couples without children.
