Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Cardinia Shire in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (5,958 females or 21.4%)
  • Professionals (5,898 females or 21.2%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (5,466 females or 19.6%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 17,322 females in total or 62.2% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Greater Melbourne employed 19.1% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; 30.4% in Professionals; and 15.4% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
