Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Cannington in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (660 people or 18.1%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (549 people or 15.0%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (548 people or 15.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,757 people in total or 48.1% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Parkwood employed 22.7% in Professionals; 12.4% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 15.9% in Technicians and Trades Workers.
