Dominant groups

Analysis of individual income levels in Minto in 2021 compared to Glenfield - Bardia shows that there was a lower proportion of people earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a higher proportion of low income people (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 5.6% of the population earned a high income, and 36.8% earned a low income, compared with 10.8% and 29.1% respectively for Glenfield - Bardia.

The major differences between Minto's individual incomes and Glenfield - Bardia's individual incomes were:

  • A larger percentage of persons who earned $300 - $399 (8.8% compared to 5.0%)
  • A larger percentage of persons who earned $400 - $499 (7.4% compared to 5.4%)
