Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in City of Campbelltown in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (3,351 females or 25.0%)
  • Education and Training (1,977 females or 14.8%)
  • Retail Trade (1,428 females or 10.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 6,756 females in total or 50.4% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the Town of Walkerville employed 28.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.4% in Education and Training; and 9.3% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of the City of Campbelltown and the Town of Walkerville were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in other services (4.1% compared to 2.7%)
  • A larger percentage of females employed in retail trade (10.7% compared to 9.3%)
