Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Campbelltown in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (531 females or 25.2%)
  • Education and Training (279 females or 13.2%)
  • Retail Trade (203 females or 9.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,013 females in total or 48.1% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Prospect employed 26.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 14.5% in Education and Training; and 9.1% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Campbelltown and the City of Prospect were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in administrative and support services (5.2% compared to 3.4%)
