Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Camden Council area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (6,236 females or 21.7%)
  • Education and Training (4,580 females or 15.9%)
  • Retail Trade (3,255 females or 11.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 14,071 females in total or 49.0% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Bringelly - Cobbitty employed 18.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 15.9% in Education and Training; and 11.0% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Camden Council area and Bringelly - Cobbitty were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in health care and social assistance (21.7% compared to 18.5%)
