Analysis of the family blending in Mount Sheridan in 2021 compared to Edmonton shows that there was a lower proportion of step families as well as a lower proportion of blended families. Overall, 11.1% of total couple families with children were step families, and 3.8% were blended families, compared with 14.4% and 6.7% respectively for Edmonton.
There were a similar proportion of other families and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of other families was 0.5% compared to 0.8% in Edmonton while the proportion of intact families was 84.6% compared to 78.2% in Edmonton.
The number of couple families with children in Mount Sheridan increased by 6 between 2016 and 2021.
There were no major differences in Mount Sheridan between 2016 and 2021.
