Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Burnside in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (189 females or 26.3%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (97 females or 13.5%)
  • Education and Training (96 females or 13.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 382 females in total or 53.1% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Burnside employed 25.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.0% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 14.8% in Education and Training.
