Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Bundaberg Regional Council in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (4,407 males or 22.6%)
  • Labourers (3,639 males or 18.7%)
  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (2,921 males or 15.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 10,967 males in total or 56.3% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Walkervale employed 29.8% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 18.9% in Labourers; and 15.1% in Machinery Operators And Drivers.
