Analysis of the language used at home by the population of Bundaberg Regional Council in 2021 compared to Division 6 shows that there was a smaller proportion of people who used English only, and a larger proportion of those using a non-English language (either exclusively, or in addition to English).
Overall, 88.4% of the population used English only, and 5.2% used a non-English language, compared with 91.2% and 4.5% respectively for Division 6.
The dominant language used at home, other than English, in Bundaberg Regional Council was Filipino/Tagalog, with 0.4% of the population, or 425 people using this language at home.
