Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Thabeban in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (216 people or 19.2%)
  • Retail Trade (148 people or 13.2%)
  • Construction (97 people or 8.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 461 people in total or 41.0% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Division 5 employed 23.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.6% in Retail Trade; and 8.0% in Construction.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Thabeban and Division 5 were:
