Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Elliott District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (380 people or 24.7%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (234 people or 15.2%)
  • Construction (147 people or 9.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 761 people in total or 49.4% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Woodgate employed 9.2% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 8.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 11.6% in Construction.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of the Elliott District and Woodgate were:
