Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Bundaberg North in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (345 people or 18.3%)
  • Retail Trade (227 people or 12.0%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (177 people or 9.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 749 people in total or 39.6% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Woodgate employed 8.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 7.3% in Retail Trade; and 9.2% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing.
