Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Delahey in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Manufacturing (291 males or 15.2%)
  • Construction (282 males or 14.8%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (277 males or 14.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 850 males in total or 44.5% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Keilor Downs employed 10.7% in Manufacturing; 17.2% in Construction; and 13.2% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Delahey and Keilor Downs were:
