Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of the City of Boroondara in 2021 compared to Bellevue Ward shows that there was a lower proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 17.1% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 16.7% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 19.5% and 15.8% respectively for Bellevue Ward.
