Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Blacktown City in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (19,675 people or 21.3%)
  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (15,984 people or 17.3%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (15,470 people or 16.7%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 51,129 people in total or 55.2% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Blacktown City - Total population employed 23.8% in Professionals; 11.1% in Machinery Operators And Drivers; and 10.6% in Technicians and Trades Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by males in Blacktown City and Blacktown City - Total population were:
