Analysis of the qualifications of the population in Ward 1 in 2021 compared to Mount Druitt shows that there was a higher proportion of people holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a lower proportion of people with no formal qualifications.
Overall, 63.4% of the population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 28.9% had no qualifications, compared with 45.2% and 44.8% respectively for Mount Druitt.
The major differences between qualifications held by the population of Ward 1 and Mount Druitt were:
- A larger percentage of persons with Bachelor or Higher degrees (39.5% compared to 23.2%)
- A larger percentage of persons with Advanced Diploma or Diplomas (9.7% compared to 8.1%)
- A smaller percentage of persons with No qualifications (28.9% compared to 44.8%)
