Analysis of the car ownership of Persian/Dari speakers in Blacktown City Council in 2021 compared to Greater Sydney shows that 95.3% were in households that owned at least one car, while 3.6% did not, compared with 92.2% and 6.2% respectively in Greater Sydney.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a smaller proportion owned just one car; a larger proportion owned two cars; and a larger proportion that owned three cars or more.
Overall, 24.4% of Persian/Dari speakers were in households that owned one car; 41.2% owned two cars; and 29.7% owned three cars or more, compared with 35.4%, 36.9% and 19.8% respectively for Greater Sydney.
