Dominant groups
Analysis of the Arabic speaking population in Blacktown City Council in 2021 compared to Greater Sydney shows that there was a lower proportion of people in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of people in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 17.5% of the Arabic speaking population was aged between 0 and 14, and 13.6% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 19.9% and 11.7% respectively for Greater Sydney.
The major differences between the age groups of the Arabic speaking population in Blacktown City and Greater Sydney were:

- 40 to 44 (+293 persons)
- 45 to 49 (+173 persons)
- 70 to 74 (+153 persons)
- 25 to 29 (+135 persons)
